Welcome!
Maybe you’ve just moved to the Triad Area and looking for a church, or maybe you’ve been in here your whole life and decided to try out this “church thing” for the first time. Whatever the reason, we’re glad you’re here.
If you’ve never attended Hickory Chapel Wesleyan before, here are some useful answers to help you on your first visit.
WHAT HAPPENS EACH SUNDAY?
Each Sunday at 9:45 AM we have Discipleship Classes for every age. Check out which class would be the best fit for you by visiting Get Connected. It is an opportunity for us to study the Bible together where a teacher will present a lesson. Anyone can attend and listen in and even participate if you want to.
Following the Discipleship classes at 10:45 AM there is the Main Worship Service where we come together and experience worship through singing, praying, giving and Pastor Jeff sharing a message from God’s Word the Bible. We would love to see you.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
There is no dress code. Some people wear suits and dresses, other people wear jeans or shorts. We’re not concerned with what people wear — if you’re at church, that’s what counts!
WHAT IS THE MUSIC LIKE?
We sing a combination of traditional hymns and more recent choruses. The instruments include piano, saxophone, and drums and sometimes the trombone and violin.
DOES IT COST MONEY TO ATTEND?
No! An offering plate is passed around during the Main Service to allow regular attenders to contribute financially. But people who visit Hickory Chapel Wesleyan are not expected to put money into the offering. You are our guests. Our hope is that you connect with God during the service, as well as meet other attending the church and
